4F-PVP, sometimes called 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)pentan-1-one or FPVP, has the molecular formula: C15H20FNO, and a molecular mass of 292.32g/mol. Its stability is rated at two years.4F-PVP is shipped as a white powder.
4F-PVP was examined in detail by both the US EPA and ACD/labs. It is thought to act in a very similar way to 4F-PV8.

Its boiling point is 351.4°C (±22.0°C) and its flash point is 166.3°C (±22.3°C). Its molar volume is 228.5 cm3 (±3.0 cm3). It is water soluble, up to 74.92 mg/litre at 25°C.
